After graduation, Steve had his House Officer training at the Liverpool Dental Hospital. He then moved to Withington and Chester to complete his Senior House Officer training.In 1991 he became a Registrar in Orthodontics in the Department of Child Dental Health at the Newcastle Dental Hospital.
Subsequently he spent his Senior Registrar years at Blackburn Royal Infirmary, Burnley General Hospital and Manchester University Dental Hospital completing his training in 1997.
In 1997 became a Consultant Orthodontist at the hospitals where he spent his Senior Registrar years moving to Countess of Chester in 1999. Steve continued his consultant post at the Manchester University Dental Hospital.

Qualified from Sheffield in 1989 and have worked as a GDP in Derbyshire for the last twenty three years. I have served on the local dental committee and more recently as secretary of the local orthodontic MCN ,the practioner group of the BOS and the Grants and Scholarships committee of the BOS. I am married to Alicen and have four lively, energetic and exhausting children .

My undergraduate qualification was completed in 1980 at Birmingham University. After three years general dental training I then completed the orthodontic training programme at the Royal Dental School, London under the supervision of Professor William Houston. I then became a lecturer in Oral Biology integrating physiology and orthodontics in the University of London.
I have subsequently obtained qualifications in specialisation and completed my PhD in 1992. I have published over 90 full papers, 150 abstracts, 3 books and supervised over 80 masters reports. I was appointed as professor in 1999 and have been awarded the James IV professorship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2002. I have been editor of the European Journal of Orthodontics since 1993 until 2011. My current research interests include cleidocranial dysplasia and signalling mechanisms in osteoblasts. I am currently the Head of Department of Orthodontics at the Dental Institute, Kings College London.

Maggie qualified from Birmingahm Dental School in 1990. She Qualified as a Specilaist in Orthodontics from Birmingham Dental Hospital and School in 1997. Her first post was Senior Dental Officer in the Community Service in Dudley 1997- 1999 Maggie has been in Specialist Practice in the Cirencester area since 2000

Dr David Morris

David Morris is Head of the Orthodontic Department & Consultant Orthodontist at Leeds Dental Institute and Seacroft Hospital, Leeds. He became the regional Training Programme Director (Yorkshire) in July 2013. He is lead clinician coordinating the treatment of orthognathic patients at both sites. He is only the 3rd orthodontist in the UK to have obtained the European Board (EBO) exam in 2012. He is past Chairman of the Clinical Standards committee of the BOS (2006-11). He completed a 6-year term on the examiners panel of the Intercollegiate Membership in Orthodontics examination (London & Glasgow) and the MFDS (London) examination. He is on the examiner’s panel for the ISFE (London & Glasgow). He is a multiple national and international winner of various clinical and research prizes. His main research interests include: orthognathic surgery, clinical psychology, treatment outcome/quality, 3D facial laser scanning and patient decision aids.

My main interests are treating Class III cases and orthodontics for Child and Adult patients with Special care needs.

I qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Hospitals in 2008 and completed my Orthodontic specialty training at Manchester Dental Hospital in 2014. I am currently a post CCST registrar at the Royal London Hospital, hoping to sit ISFE in 2016. My role is to represent the views and ideas of the TGG to the Scholarships and Grants committee and keep the TGG informed of any changes to rules and regulations of existing prizes and awards.
